Oculus Passes

For all my horror movie lovers, there’s a new scary movie…

Ten years ago, tragedy struck the Russell family, leaving the lives of teenage siblings Tim and Kaylie forever changed when Tim was convicted of the brutal murder of their parents. Now in his 20s, Tim is newly released from protective custody and only wants to move on with his life; but Kaylie, still haunted by that fateful night, is convinced her parents’ deaths were caused by something else altogether: a malevolent supernatural force unleashed through the Lasser Glass, an antique mirror in their childhood home. Determined to prove Tim’s innocence, Kaylie tracks down the mirror, only to learn similar deaths have befallen previous owners over the past century. With the mysterious entity now back in their hands, Tim and Kaylie soon find their hold on reality shattered by terrifying hallucinations, and realize, too late, that their childhood nightmare is beginning again…

The movie will be released Friday, April 11, 2014. But the Movie Scene Queen and Blonde Girl Nok is hosting a special screening on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:30 PM. The screening will be held at Cinemark Theatres- Pittsburgh Mills.

For passes, please comment below with your favorite scary movie. I’ll start with mine: Child’s Play (1988). I didn’t want to play with my dolls for weeks after watching the movie as a child.

  2. It would have to definitely be between Insidious and The Conjuring. I know they’re both new but they’re definitely two of my absolute favorites!

  3. I would have to say my favorite scary movie would have to be May. I can watch that movie everyday if I could.

  4. My all time favorite scary movie would have to be Insidious & The Conjuring. I love scary movies like this… Insidious 1 & 2 are awesome and I could watch that movie over and over again….. Then The Conjuring would be next….

  5. The scariest movie I’ve seen is so scary I don’t even want to say the name of it but here’s the clues Linda Blair, head spinning around I’m sure you know what I’m talking about! !!!

  6. Way back I went to the neighbor theater with my friends to see House of Wax. This was the original. That night I woke up screaming after having a dream about the movie. My mom came in to calm me but it didn’t work the first time. I woke up a second time screaming with my mom on the case again.
I have never forgotten that and when the House of Wax came out again I didn’t go to see it because I
didn’t want to lose the memories of how it scared me long ago.

  7. Favorite moment in favorite scary movie is the hand coming up from the ground in the best and original Carrie!
