Music manager Dave (Jason Lee) is not only enjoying a burgeoning career, but a blossoming romance with Samantha (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), a beautiful doctor who works in the emergency room. Through a series of misunderstandings, the chipmunks start to believe that a marriage proposal is on the horizon. Dreading the thought of an antagonistic stepbrother (Josh Green), Alvin (Justin Long), Theodore and Simon embark on a cross-country odyssey to prevent their best pal from ruining their lives.

My favorite Alvin and the Chipmunks moment would have to be when they introduced Jeanette, Brittany and Eleanor Miller to the Chipmunk Crew…. All 6 (Alvin, Simon, Theodore Seville and the girls) got together and caused havoc everywhere they went… But the group as a whole, can sing their butts off….. I love to hear them Harmonize.
My favorite moment was when Theodore pooped when he got scared and Simon had to eat it to prove it wasn’t poop.

I don’t have a favorite moment , but my children love every moment of the other three movies and would enjoy going to this viewing . Also FYI I’m old school (or maybe just old-lol ) and I like the original chipmunks cartoons.

I thought it was hilarious in the Alvin and the Chipmunks “Chipwrecked” sequel when Simon gets bitten by the spider and acts like a wild French person
My little brother absolutely loves them, and his favorite part is the big final concert in the first movie!
