Office Christmas Party Passes

In OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY, when the CEO (Jennifer Aniston) tries to close her hard-partying brother’s branch, he (T.J. Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer (Jason Bateman) must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs. The latest comedy from directors Josh Gordon and Will Speck (BLADES OF GLORY) co-stars Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Jillian Bell, Rob Corddry, Vanessa Bayer, Randall Park, Sam Richardson, Jamie Chung, and Courtney B. Vance in the funniest movie of the holiday season.

Movie Scene Queen has your opportunity to attend a screening of Paramount’s OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY on Tuesday, December 6 at the AMC Waterfront 22 at 7:30pm.  Please comment with your favorite office party story.  I know you guys may think this is my full time gig, but I actually have a 9-5 and we have parties all the time.  We just had Thanksgiving dinner (it was really lunch) in the cafeteria and I never laughed so hard.  Some of my co-workers have really became friends and family.

Much Love,

Movie Scene Queen

  1. First work holiday party after my separation … went to the party with a family friend …. I got drunk on too many glasses of red wine, had to be carried out of Nick’s Fat City (2nd stop of the evening), woke up with a bruise on my nose, and don’t remember the evening

  2. Last year’s office Christmas party at my company was very nice. There was good food, an open bar, and plenty of fun to go around. I was nice relaxing with my co-workers and enjoying the Holiday Season.

  3. At my work they got us all Olive Garden for Xmas and we all just got to talk and hang out since we never get to do that because we are so busy..

  4. Currently planning this year’s annual holiday gathering . . . going to get “Elfed Up” as a theme. Hoping for a good time for all attending.

  5. At a new job for this years Christmas and rumors are that the Christmas party gets a little wild…so i’m looking forward to that…

  6. When I worked at UPMC, the pharmacy manager at the time took it upon herself to arrange a Christmas dinner/party at Hyeholde Restaurant. Top shelf food and drink. Best “office” party ever!

  7. Our company does a huge holiday party and this year they had a group put on a small play and at the end they thanked the company by the wrong name! It wasn’t even close! It was too much and we never laughed so hard!!!!

  8. The best was the year we played a Christmas giveaway game where everybody brought a $20 gift and we placed them in a table and then drew numbers and starting with the person who had #1 picked a gift of the table or had the option to take someone else’s gift if your gift got nabbed then you could pick from the table or snatch someone else’s gift by the end of the game we were all in tears laughing and let me just say the most popular gifts were the liquor bottles

  9. When a coworker threw a ball across the room at our Christmas lunch and nailed our boss (1 month retired) in the face..

  10. I’m retired, now. We always had gatherings and food at work for various occasions. It was always a treat having ample people in the lounge together laughing and talking about everything. It was definitely like a close family. Macys closed last March and I certainly do miss everyone.

  11. I like that we have an extended lunch when we have office parties. We get to talk, laugh and enjoy each other while not under pressure.

  12. We have a Christmas luncheon every year at Atria’s We work till 11:00 then go to lunch but don’t go back to work the rest of the day.

  13. Never experienced anything remotely like the movies, every xmas party is catered, outing at a restaurant or potluck. WooHoo!!

  14. I work for a government agency and we have a Christmas party every year, for about 60-75 people. Pot luck style and lots food, fun and conversation. a Good day off while still at work. As a matter of fact we are due soon !!!

  15. I organized a Christmas Party at Lowe’s theatre at my old job when they used to have good food and brought a boom box. We danced and ate till we were full and cracked jokes on each other and since it was after hours and not on company property we could really cut loose. The next day everyone who went was talking about it and showing off their pictures by the big Christmas tree. The people who didn’t go and talked down about having the party preparations really regretted not going which was my sweet revenge.
I work from home now so no office parties anymore.

  16. At our office christmas party a few years ago we did a gift swap. Nearly everyone brought alcohol, and everyone was excited to get a bottle of alcohol, except one person brought a Dunkin Donuts gift card to swap. Sigh.
