Set in contemporary Chicago, amidst a time of turmoil, four women with nothing in common except a debt left behind by their dead husbands’ criminal activities, take fate into their own hands, and conspire to forge a future on their own terms.

For your chance to snag two passes to the November 7th screening of Fox’s Widows, please comment below with your favorite Viola Davis moment.  Can I say I am addicted to “How to Get Away with Murder”?  I don’t miss an episode!  In my opinion, it’s some of her best acting.

Much Love,

Movie Scene Queen

  1. I’ve been married and would love to see how the widows handle obstacles that their husbands created! Thought women…we are!

  2. I love all of viola’s movies shes a great actress. My little cousin who’s in to acting got to meet her in person and sai she a great and positive person.

  3. In my opinion Viola Davis should have several oscars due to the fact that she is a phenomenal actor. However Fences is 1 of the movies that stands out for me.First in for most it was made in the city of Pittsburgh. Also the part when Denzel said he’s been in the same place for c amount of time, and her reply was she’s been in the same place standing beside him. That statement made me ponder,in today’s society things have change.Women are moving on they are now calling shots.Women refuse to stand in the same place counting on the same guy to do nothing. As a minority man I respect a women who is independent.

  4. My favorite Viola Davis moment is when she player James Brown’s mother in the biopic and he gave her money after he had become successful. She did an excellent job!

  5. Viola was good in Prisoners when her daughter was kidnapped and she and Terrence Howard reluctantly agreed to help Hugh Jackman

  6. My favorite Viola Davis moment was “18 years of my life” scene in “Fences”. Arguably the best scene in the film, the way in which she brings so much power and emotion to what is happening to her in this moment, it’s just amazing. The scene works so well because of her.
