After sending shock waves across contemporary culture and setting a new standard for provocative, socially-conscious horror films with his directorial debut, Get Out, Academy Award®-winning visionary Jordan Peele returns with another original nightmare that he has written, directed and produced.
Set in present day along the iconic Northern California coastline, Us, from Monkeypaw Productions, stars Oscar® winner Lupita Nyong’o as Adelaide Wilson, a woman returning to her beachside childhood home with her husband, Gabe (Black Panther’s Winston Duke), and their two children (Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex) for an idyllic summer getaway.
Movie Scene Queen is hosting a screening on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in the Waterfront. For tickets, please comment below with your favorite Get Out moment. Winners will be selected on Sunday, March 17, 2019.
Much Love,
Movie Scene Queen
I loved the whole movie!
The whole movie is great and such a jem. My favorite part is when he talks to the maid in the house, and first notices that something isn’t right with her.
when chrisfound the photos and rose was in on it
went the gardener when running full speed
Funniest was Lil Rel at the police station when the officer brings in more cops to laugh at his theory. The creepiest was learning the “auction” was for Daniel K.
I love the twist! Really gets the film on a super creepy and awesome tone.
Would love free passes to US. Favorite part of Get out was the whole surprise element/plot twist of the whole movie !!!
The entire movie was awesome. I loved the all too familiar feeling of relief when you’re the only minority and another arrives. Only problem was he was already under the spell and the flash from the camera woke him.
My favorite moment was when the white girl was eating the fruit loops separate from the milk. There was a big message there.
My favorite part was when Chris was hypnotized into the sunken place and the visuals (or lack of) in the sunken place.
My favorite part of Get Out was when it was revealed the girl friend was in on it and he finds the photos of the other people.
When he talks to the cops.
Betty Gabriel in the “no, no, no” scene is absolutely fantastic!
Would like to see this movie. Looks scary
Talking to the cop
My favorite moment is when they were all at the dinner table .
When his boy saves him at the end of the movie.
When the friend says that he is being used as a sex slave
The suspense when he’s trying to leave the house because he knows its not safe, but she won’t give him the keys!
Allison Williams eating fruit loops while browsing potential future victims. Terrifying.
My favorite moment is when the ground keeper starts running towards him and runs right past him which is like scary, it made me jump
My favorite part is the ending when Rod Williams shows up to save the day! Loved that entire movie.
when he “sinks” into the chair, and he has that look in his eye…absolutely terrifying…or when the gardener just runs straight at him and turns at the last second. the whole movie was just amazing though
When the groundskeeper sprints past Chris at night- scared me so bad!!
Hope l get passes to see this screening.
The end where the TSA agent friend came to the rescue. “I told you not to go to that house”! That stupid Word Press would not bring me back to your site after I put my password in; just thought you should know.
I enjoy all the twist and turn in the movie plot.
Thanks for the tickets!!
The whole movie
The best part is his buddy that works for TSA! So enjoyable. The whole film is great though!
Best Friend Rod Williams of the muhf*ckin TSC at the end of the movie for the WIN!
My favorite moment was when Chris gets sent to the “Sunken Place”. The whole scene was well done; the range of emotions that Daniel Kaluuya goes through in it was amazing and lead perfectly into the moment. To put it simply, the Sunken Place was cool. Him falling slowly into this dark abyss as the outside world got smaller and smaller is an image that stays with you.
I love Key and Peele even though it is not a movie and loved Get out!Toy Story 4 looks amazing as well
My favorite part was when he stuffed his ears with the couch stuffing, brilliant!
The speed of the Gardner!
would love to see this movie
Love scary movies! Would love to see! Thanks for the chances!!
I loved the ending were Chris escaped got revenge and got out, I thought movie was suspenseful
The whole movie was great. I was glad Chris was able to “get out “ at the end. If he wouldn’t have made it it would have been tragic!
My favorite moment was the police cruiser pulling up and it being Rod. We all thought poor Chris was about to get lit up by the police lol
When she was searching for those car keys, she was looking hard!
I loved when he slammed the deer antlers Into the man during surgery
the hypnosis scene
the hypnosis scene
When he found the pictures with his girlfriend in them I was shocked
When the twist in the movie came about, when the girlfriend showed she was in on the set up too.
I like the TSA friend. I love that he got to be a hero in the story!
My thoughts about the movie get out would be superb entertainment at it’s best. Most definitely one of the best movie I’ve seen that year.Well earned Oscar for the suspense, laughter and the seriousness that make you ponder as what if they were really doing this to black people.Get out was a sleeper, turned out to be one of best flicks added it to my collection.
“T S Mutha F*ckin A!” There were sooo many hidden parts to the story like the scene with the fruit loops where she drank the milk separately. That stood out to me as soon as I seen it. I totally caught what Jordan Peele was doing there.
I have already commented but I just love Jordan Peele so incredibly much and would be so grateful to see Us early! Another one of my elements of Get Out was the alternate ending where David K. ends up in jail, I find the different endings very intriguing!
The click of a tea cup. Is now considered iconic. A great movie.
