Movie Scene Queen is hosting a special advance screening on Monday, October 28, 2019 in the Waterfront.  For tickets, please comment below with your favorite historical movie.  Although it’s sometimes hard to watch, my favorite historical movies are Rosewood (1997) and Titanic (1997).

Hidden Figures Passes

HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world.  The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

Movie Scene Queen will be holding a screening of HIDDEN FIGURES Tuesday, November 22 at 5 PM at AMC Waterfront 22.  Please comment below with your favorite Taraji P. Henson moment.  There’s something about Taraji!  From Baby Boy (2001) to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) to Fox’s Empire,  I just love the roles she plays and the energy she uses to portray them.

Much Love,

Movie Scene Queen
