Becca (Olivia DeJonge) and younger brother Tyler (Ed Oxenbould) say goodbye to their mother as they board a train and head deep into Pennsylvania farm country to meet their maternal grandparents for the first time. Welcomed by Nana (Deanna Dunagan) and Pop Pop (Peter McRobbie), all seems well until the siblings start to notice increasingly strange behavior from the seemingly charming couple.
Movie Scene Queen is hosting its second and final screening of The Visit before its September 11th release. The screening will be held Tuesday, September 8th at 7:30 PM in the Waterfront. Please comment below with your interest and your favorite grandparent visit. To give you an idea of what I mean, I’ll start with my own visit… My paternal grandparents- God rest their souls- would always have everything planned when my sisters and I visit them. On almost every occasion, my Grandma Winnie cooked a huge meal and then took us to Fashion Bug. Good times! They were crazy as hell, but they weren’t horror movie crazy!
Much Love,
Movie Scene Queen

I am definitely interested! My favorite grandparent moment was everytime going to my grandmother’s house and falling asleep on her couch i always and mean always woke up with an Afghan cover laid over me. Nobody cares like grandma!
My grandma is the best person ever. My best moment with her is getting suspended from school & having to stay with her that week. She made me stay inside but we built forts in her whole house. My mom would’ve never done that! 😂😂
I’m interested! Fav moment of my grandmother is everytime in would go over her house and fall asleep she would put an Afghan blanket over me. Grandma’s love is so pure!
My favorite grandparent moment , were always summer weekend at my grandmother’s house, staying up late and eating my grandmother’s spaghetti with smoked sausage. And seeing the neighborhood kids that I only see when I go over there
In most cases with folks, when you saw your grandparents you would have to go over the river and through the woods. Not in my case, my grandparents lived two doors down from where I grew up. Talk about being spoiled!
Lots of love and good things to eat
I was really young, but I remember that they always had some good candy in the candy dishes!
I love grandmom cooking went theve came over on Thankgiving let the good time roll
thank you
My grandparents always were the first ones to visit our house on Christmas morning to drop off presents for us. They always looked out for us.
Grandparents are always the best they’re always there when you need them
My favorite memory is when my grandma would come visit us because she was always fun to hangout with.
My favorite memory is when my grandma comes over and has way too many coors lites. She is always the lift of the party!
We would always go to Mni golf for our birthdays. One time, I got a hole in one, and got a free game because the lights were flashing. My siblings were so jealous that I got to go twice that year!
Sleepovers at my Grandparents house were always the best, something about the smells and how we always used the same blankets, we would always have great snacks and play games, your typical sleepover at grandma’s but i’ll remember them forever!
My grandma always had a sleepover with me and my sisters every Saturday and we did all different things and went different places!!
