Merecedes J. Williams is Owner and Chief Film Critic of Movie Scene Queen™
With over a decade of journalism experience and an inquisitive love for movies, Merecedes J. Williams created a blog in 2013. Originally Pittsburgh Movie Scene Queen, when the blog started to quickly flourish, it was time to drop the “Pittsburgh” and add amenities to the company.
In its tenth year, Movie Scene Queen™ is a multi-dimensional entertainment company that provides marketing and promotion, event planning and coverage, photography, and free movie screenings to families, schools, organizations, and groups. In addition to movie screenings, Owner and Chief Film Critic Merecedes J. Williams is an award-winning writer, social media strategists, and philanthropist. Through MSQ, the Single Parent Project was birthed as community service branch to service single parent, incarcerated parent, and foster families.
